Children in low-income countries are in need of books and other reading materials. Without these materials most of these children will never learn to read. It is our goal to help ensure that the much needed books and reading materials reach these children. The problem currently is that many of these materials are lost somewhere between the publisher or donor and their destination. To help prevent this from happening, the Ingrassia Group has developed a book tracking and tracing system. The tracking system will keep track of the books and materials from the moment they leave the publisher or donor to the time they arrive at their destination.
At the publisher each shipping container will have a GPS tracker placed inside. The GPS tracker will be a radio frequency identification, RFID, tag.
